Brrrrr! Chilly out there, isn't it, Washington? It's going to remain so throughout the day, and into tomorrow, with highs hovering in the 20s, but with a wind chill that makes it feel much colder. So bundle up.

Was keeping schools open yesterday a dumb move? City Desk finds a couple of teacher/bloggers who think so. 

DCist reports that there's a newer, thinner Screech (the Nats mascot, if you didn't know) running around out there.

DC Metrocentric says there's a new restaurant set to open on 14th Street, NW. It'll be called Policy. Apt name for a DC spot, no?
