It’s only August, but for the many members of Congress back in their districts, it must feel like November is just around the corner. This week’s Congressional Twitterverse was abuzz over midterm elections and Tuesday’s primary results. Plus, John McCain gets all 2000 election on Regis and Kelly (“We demand a recount!”), Lynn Jenkins tweets about Washington’s addiction problems, Barbara Mikulski (temporarily) says good riddance to DC, Leonard Boswell and Jason Chaffetz state the obvious (really? Jobs are good and people live in the West? Who knew?), John Kerry goes on about “roid rage attacks,” John Sullivan shamelessly angles for more Facebook friends, and Nancy Pelosi is on Top Chef.
