Father of Ebony Franklin Arrested for Her Murder: DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier made the announcement Saturday night: Rodney McIntyre, the father of slain 17-year-old Ebony Franklin, has been arrested and charged in the stabbing death of his daughter. Franklin's body was discovered last winter in a dumpster in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. Lanier also said police have evidence that there was a "sexual relationship" between father and daughter, but as DC Homicide Watch points out, shouldn't she have said incest or rape instead of "relationship"?
