It’s been a happy week for Bryce Harper. The Washington Nationals superstar won the National League’s Rookie of the Year
honors. Earlier he tweeted a photo of himself with the woman rumored to be his girlfriend:
Kayla Varner. “What a great night with the girl
and friends!” he
wrote.
Earlier she had tweeted: “had fun with my favorite boy
@Bharper3407 this weekend
#hescute.”
The tweet included a collage of photos of the two of them,
including one of them kissing.
Does this mean Harper is confirming Varner as his significant other? We don’t know,
just as we don’t know a lot about Varner other than that she attends Brigham Young
University, plays soccer, is from Las Vegas like Harper, and is mad for Twitter, where
she has posted several cozy photos of herself and her “favorite boy.”
After winning the baseball award, Harper tweeted, “Just wanted to say thank you to
my family, teammates, and most of all my fans that have supported me all year! What
an honor!”
Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels won the American League award. Both he and Harper
were chosen by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
