The Edlavitch DCJCC (EDCJCC) is transforming the D.C. scene with the premiere of a new ideas symposium. The Words and Ideas festival will inspire a new world of ideas, thought, and contemporary questions through a Jewish lens at the highest level.
Kicking off this new program in October will be three days of renowned speakers and invigorating conversations to confront a variety of questions and issues around aging. “Making a Scene: Growing Older, Growing Bolder,” will be relevant and timely for people at all stages of the aging process.
Featured speakers will include Sheila Nevins, President of HBO Documentary Films; New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast; producer and director Peter L. Stein; and actor, director, and author Alan Alda.
